What I want for Christmas!

What I want for Christmas and what I will get are two very different things. What I want is something that sparkles and you wear on your left hand on your ring finger. But I know that this wont be what I am getting. I know this because I have already been told that "he" will not ask me on a holiday, and you can't really ask for something like that for a gift its not right. But I must say I would be very excited if thats what I got for Christmas! "HINT HINT HINT"

Oh Christmas Tree!

After a long day at work Matt and I went off to buy our Christmas Tree. Its just the right size and shape (I think it just a little bigger then it was last year).  As I sit here and type I can see Matt getting mad about how the tinsel wont stop getting all knotted up while he tries to put it on our tree. The one thing I like about Christmas is the Christmas star I have for the top of my tree. The star we have is very special to me it is about 26 years old. It was the very 1st star my parents bought when they had their 1st Christmas when they got married. I have never had a Christmas with out it on my parents tree until last year when my daddy gave it to me to have on my Christmas tree (of course after deep thought of which child should get it). But with my brother being married and already having a star/angel for his tree and my sister still living at home, so my daddy decided that it would be best to pass it on to me. Every year its the 1st thing to go on the tree after the lights. I have very few Christmas ornaments a good 80% of whats on our tree is Matt's. So in my heart it is very important to me that the Star was passed to me and that it gets to sit on the very top of the tree. I can't wait till I am married for 25 years and can pass the star on to my children. 

On another note the very next thing that is important is out tree skirt. it was made by Matt's dad a long time ago. and with him no longer able to participate in Christmas, it makes me feel very happy to have some part of him in our home that once did and that will always be a happy memory. I only got to spend one Christmas with him, when he did participate in the holiday. I hope one day I will once again get to spend it with him and get to see all the things I have been told about. Like all the little trees and all the lights in the yard. I know its crazy but that's my Christmas wish this year is to be able to see that some time soon! 

GRRR....

You know what makes me mad? When people don't realize when you do something really nice for them and say nothing, Or when they do say something its to late and you could really careless. I also hate when I am in a good mood and and some one puts my in a really bad mood!!!!!

Thanksgiving!!

I have a lot to be thankful for this year but, the thing I am most thankful for is my family and Matt with out them I would be lost! I'm also thankful for my puppy Sammy and my fishy Larry! I wish you all a Very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Hi!!

Okay! Okay! I know I have been really bad and have not posted anything so I will post right now!

I love my new job!!! Working for a bank is so nice. I love that I get all kinds of perks and discounts. I get discounts on plane tickets, movie tickets, tickets to them parks and all kinds of other things! Also a another perk is the benefits. Wamu offers really good benefits and the best part is that Matt can get them too! So we both have Medical, Vision, and Dental and it is only $57 for both of us IT ROCKS!!! 

Final Exam!

Well tomorrow is my final exam in my training class. You have to get a 80% on the test to pass and at least a 80% over all for the class. I don't think this shall be a problem for me at all. I have had many little test over the last 2 weeks and have got 100% on all of them except for like 2 which were in the 80's% range. Once my fianl is over I can start at the branch and this will really start my job :)

New Job!!!

Today I started my new job :) I love being in a huge building in Tampa and I get a wonderful view of the Gulf! Now this is a Job :) To bad it only will last for 2 weeks then its time to go to my branch.

It's my birthday!!!

It's my birthday!!! So today I spent the day shopping with Matt. I must say that I had a good day, But I am a little sad that my brother and his wife forgot to call me today along with a few friends of mine. Atleast I got to start the grand old age of 24 the right way shopping and haveing a nice steak for dinner :) I can't ask for to much more. (Okay there is one thing, but I wont bring that up. He already hears it enough from everyone).

I don't understand

You know what I don't understand? I don't understand how my boss can be so stupid. I gave my 2 weeks notice and she thinks I am going to be working until the 18th of the month when my 2 weeks would be up on the 13th. I just don't get her she really is pissing me off! Oh well I wont have to deal with her shit or anyone else in that company anymore after the 13th. THANK GOD!!!

New Job!!!

So the time has come to blog about my new job. I will be starting in about 3 weeks at WaMu. I am very excited to be leaving my old job for this great opportunity to start a new career. It will be very nice to have every Sunday off and all the holidays off.  I know that I just got a promotion at my current job, but I applied to WaMu before the promotion. I know that it sucks for them and some of you might think its wrong to leave right after a promotion, but it will be a much better choice in the long run. The pay in general will be a lot better and not to have to deal with the mall and all the crazy MOBS and BRIDES will be worth it. 

Countdown

Sunday

Today was my first Sunday working all day alone at the store in Countryside. I really hope that I get this job at WAMU. This way I don't have to spend my time waiting for people to walk in ans waste my time. I would much rather spend my Sundays helping out at the church. It's just time to move foward in my life and I feel like I am being held back where I work.

WAMU

So I was prompted at my current job. As soon as that happened WAMU called me for a phone interview. So I took the phone interview, and it went really good. I know have a interview with the branch manager on Friday afternoon. If I get a offer from them then I know that its time to leave where I am just based in the money. I can make the same amount I make know just walking in the door. So wish me luck!

Sundays!

Last Sunday I went to church with Matt. It was my 1st Sunday and I had a really good time! I am excited to go back this Sunday. I never thought that volunteering my time at the church would really make me feel that good. I was really surprised, I mean it really put me in a good mood for the rest of the weekend. I'm also glad that I am getting to know the people whom Matt works with ever week and that in my mind is very important. Oh and its just Fun!!

Weekend

 This weekend Matt and I will be on the other coast to vist his grandmother. I am looking foward to seeing her. Matt said that she seemed very happy to hear that we will be coming for a little vist. Oh and on our way home on monday we might hit up Disney World!!!

Promotion

After all the job looking I have been doing something awesome has happend!!! I got promoted at work!!! I am now the Asst Manager of the store I work at! It may not be what I wnat to be doing for the rest of my life but it will give me the skills I need to move foward!!!

Feeling Better

I have the best boyfriend in the whole world! I have been really down in my luck lately and last night he was trying to cheer me up, but it didn't really work to much.  So today I woke up and I was in a good mood and to keep me in a good mood Matt made me dinner and as we sat here and watched TV he let me paint with my white nail polish little smileys on his toes :) :) . This made me feel even better. He made me so happy letting me do that, and I must say his toes look wounderful. I have to say I do have the best boyfriend in the world!

I understand the need but I can only do so much! I have been calling and applying to places left and right and still nothing. Hi Everyone! OKay Okay I know I have been slacking at this but I have been kinda busy. I am in the middle of trying to find out if I have gotten the job at BOA and at the same time my DM has given me a chance to become a Asst. Manager that will lead to Store Manager. So thats all thats really new. Also I got my new computer YAY! (thanks Matt)

People

You know I think some people in this world have no respect for the word NO! Today at work I had this phone call and the girl on the other end wanted to cancel her appointment and see if she could come in at 1pm on Sunday. I Told her that I was sorry but the 1pm spot already was taken by another bride and she would have to wait untill 2pm for the next open appointment. She then was like well that wont work we are very busy and don't have time for later on so can we come in am work alone and I said I am sorry but no you have to have some one to put everything in to the computer for you. (this is where it gets good) She then said so we can't come in and work alone and I once again said no so she then said Well we will be in at 1pm and will work on it alone until the other appointment is done and hung up. (I know how Stupid and RUDE) So now its 7:30 pm and I have appointment with another couple and they just arrived and here comes the women who call me at 11 am who was way to busy and was here for there appointment I told here she would have to wait and come back so at 8pm she came back I finished with my appointment at 8:15 and then helped here we close at 9 by the way and her and the groom and mom and daughter and sister (oh Wait no Bride) were in my store until 9:15 and waisted my time! And still after we have spent at least $$150 bringing in things for them  and all the time they still could not make up their minds. I was so pissed!! OH wait I forgot I know why they didn't understand NO or how to hold an appointment they don't speak any English only Spanish what does that tell you!!!

RAIN

If it could rain any harder I think I could swim to work. Today It had rained so much in a short time that it was flooding in the parking lot of my apartment complex. I know we need the rain but come on! Some days I want it to rain all day, like on the days I am planning on not going anywhere and don't have to work then I don't mind a little or a lot of rain. But of course when you have things to do it almost always has to rain. OH and I know not to be outside in the great state of Florida at 4pm because it almost always rains then. :) 

Ice Cream

So Matt took me out for ice cream to wish me good luck for my interview on Monday. I am sure that you all know that I have applied for a job with BOA, which I might say has been the longest process in my life just for a job. So after I applied I had to take a survey and after the survey I had a group interview and after all the background and jobs history and credit check, I was told that the next step would be to wait for a call from my recruiter. So I waited and today I was called and I have an interview with a BOA manager at a branch thats like 5 mins from my apartment. I was so excited! This is something that I really really want and I could grow so much inside and outside of this job. I hope to know by the end of the week if I will get the job. :) Everyone please wish me luck!

Question

Does anyone know how you tell someone the smell, but with out hurting their feelings? See my boss she well smells and there is no nice way to put it. I have called HR about it and they sent out a letter to all the staff at my store explain that an anonymous call (aka me) had been made about the personal hygiene of a store individual(s). When she read this letter so looked mad at first then she turned to me and said I don't smell, none of use do. It must be a customer who is upset. So now what? She thinks she does not smell but yet all the people who work with her smell it and yet she does not smell. I would hate to be hurtful but come on. My asst. manager and I can not take it and she says it smells like rotting flesh! So if anyone knows what to say or do PLEASE help me!
